Listed here are the publishing guidelines of the APA for authors that are based on the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.) and APA Publishing resources:
- Manuscript Format – Employ the 1.5 line spacing, 1-inch margins, 12-point Times New Roman (or other approved fonts), and page numbers in the header.
- Sections – An APA paper of the standard contains: Title page, Abstract, Main text, References, and (if necessary) Tables/Figures/Appendices.
- Title Page – Is the place where the title, author(s), affiliation(s), and author note (if required) should be found.
- Abstract/Summary – (for research paper-based and case study-based articles) A brief overview (150–250 words) of the research objective, method, results, and conclusions.
- References – Implement the author-date citation system; make sure that all reference entries are in full and formatted according to APA 7th ed. style.
- Ethics & Style – Practicing the use of language that is inclusive, discontinuing the use of bias and making the reporting more clear and concise.
